Butterfly House Sober House

About this Sober House

Butterfly House is a certified sober living home in Phoenix, Arizona, in Maricopa County. It holds Level 2 certification from the Arizona Recovery Housing Association and is operated by Whitmer Properties LLC.

A Certified Sober House in Phoenix

Butterfly House does not have a published street address. Arizona's certifying association lists city and certification level for its member residences and withholds the exact address as a matter of state privacy law, so the house is best located to Phoenix itself, the state capital and the largest city in Maricopa County.

What AzRHA Level 2 Certification Establishes

Certification through the Arizona Recovery Housing Association commits the house to a published code of ethics, disclosed fees and rules before move-in, a written relapse and discharge policy, and an outside complaint process. Level 2 is the peer-managed model that most of the association's certified homes in Arizona run.

Recovery Housing in Phoenix and Maricopa County

Phoenix anchors Maricopa County and carries the largest concentration of certified recovery housing in the state. A resident at Butterfly House has outpatient providers, courts, and transit spread across the metro rather than one neighborhood, which matters once daily routines start to depend on more than a single address.

Reaching Whitmer Properties LLC in Phoenix, Arizona

Applications for Butterfly House go through Whitmer Properties LLC directly. Worth asking first: what the program fee covers, whether a house manager lives on site, how bedrooms are assigned, and what the discharge policy says about a relapse.
