Tortuga House Men's Sober House

About this Sober House

Tortuga House is a men's sober living home in Cave Creek, Arizona, in Maricopa County. It holds Level 2 certification from the Arizona Recovery Housing Association and is operated by Saguaro Recovery LLC.

A Men's Sober House in Cave Creek

Tortuga House gives Saguaro Recovery a location outside the operator's other three houses in Scottsdale and Phoenix, offering a more rural stretch of Maricopa County. The house follows the operator's upscale model, with a furnished home, gym access and a shared community dinner five nights a week.

Level 2 Certification at Tortuga House

Tortuga House is certified by the Arizona Recovery Housing Association at Level 2, requiring published fees and rules, a written code of ethics, and a complaint process outside the house. Saguaro Recovery also states its houses are licensed through the Arizona Department of Health Services, a distinct state credential from AzRHA certification.

A Single-Gender Recovery Home

Tortuga House houses men only, a structure Saguaro Recovery applies at the property level across its portfolio so that house meetings and shared space are built around one population.

Cave Creek's Place in Maricopa County

Cave Creek sits on the northern edge of Maricopa County, giving residents distance from downtown Phoenix while remaining inside the same county's treatment and transit network, an option for someone who wants a quieter setting during early recovery.
