The per capita income in the municipality was $22,299. Around 5.1 percent of families and 7.3 percent of the population were poor, with 7.7 percent of those under 18 and 10.2 percent of those 65 and older falling into this category. According to the 2010 census, the town has a population of 10,863 people. White people made up 86.1 percent of the population, while African Americans made up 6.4 percent, Native Americans made up 0.2 percent, Asians made up 2.9 percent, and Pacific Islanders made up 0.0 percent. People of any race who identified as Hispanic or Latino made up 7.3 percent of the population.
