Exeter is a town in the United States of America’s Rockingham County. Exeter is named after Devon, England’s historic metropolis. According to the 2010 census, the population was 14,306 people. Local youngster Norman Muscarello and two Exeter police officers, Eugene Bertrand and David Hunt, spotted a bright red UFO at close range in September 1965, earning them a place in UFO history. The Air Force eventually stated that it had been unable to identify the bizarre object, yet it is still regarded as one of the most amazing UFO encounters in history by many UFO enthusiasts. 

Exeter features a large number of structures designed by well-known architects. The Old Town Hall, built in 1855, was designed by Arthur Gilman, a descendent of one of Exeter’s founding families. The Rotch & Tilden firm of Boston designed the Old Public Library in 1894, which today houses the Exeter Historical Society.
