Guilford Center, the town’s main settlement, is situated in the southern part of town near the intersection of US Route 1 and Connecticut Route 77. Three exits of Interstate 95, which runs just north of the town center, serve it. At the time of the 2010 census, the Guilford Center census-designated place had a population of 2,597 people.
