The Willingness Foundation is a collection of sober living houses in Richmond, VA.
Sober living houses, also called sober homes and sober living environments, are facilities that provide safe housing and supportive, structured living conditions for people exiting drug rehabilitation programs. Sober houses serve as a transitional environment between such programs and mainstream society.
The Willingness Foundation program is designed to provide everyone with their own personal recovery coach.
We believe in the therapeutic value of one addict helping another in recovery. Our recovery program has a one on one personal touch, involving daily meeting attendance, actively working a 12 step program, and being part of a recovery herd.
We currently have four houses open with a total of 30 beds. (more will be added in the near future) The Willingness Foundation is an alternative to traditional rehab.
*A personal recovery coach is basically a 24/7 recovery companion to help people carry out their day to day duties, not only in their recovery but for general living skills as well.
*A recovery herd, is a group of people engaged in recovery consciously working together
