The Turning Point of SC is a nonprofit organization, organized under the laws of the state of South Carolina, and fully qualified by the IRS under section 501(c)3 as a charitable, tax-deductible organization.
Our philosophy of removing obstacles hasn’t changed. With a remarkably high success rate, The Turning Point has seen over seven thousand people gain a new start in life since 1995. The Turning Point of South Carolina, Inc., maintains several transitional sober living facilities, including the Milestone Houses and Harmony House for women. The Recovery Meeting Center, a longtime dream of Mr. Fred’s, was finished and opened in the spring of 2015.
Additional Information:
Our mottos are “A Working Man’s Recovery House” and “Working Women Work Miracles”, and as such, we help with finding employment and provide transportation. Residents work in regular jobs off-site, go to meetings when they are not working, and so they are allowed to pay as they go for the program.
