Situated on 45 acres just south of Hattiesburg on U.S. Highway 49, Oak Arbor is in a convenient location in the southeastern region of Mississippi. Our comprehensive program provides a safe, alcohol/drug-free environment offering independence with support to promote independent living without relapsing into addiction. Oak Arbor’s 54-bed unit for men, 24 VA apartments for men and separate 13-bed unit for women, are comfortably furnished and decorated to feel like a home away from home. The facility operates a full-service cafeteria and is handicap accessible.
The cornerstone of the transitional services at Oak Arbor is the time spent working with residents to establish a solid recovery program that allows for increasing independence. The four-phase treatment program allows for step-by-step recovery at the individualized pace of each client.
