Our sober house clients struggle with a variety of life issues, mostly alcoholism and chemical dependency, but in actuality, their issues usually stem from some form of abuse, mental issues, or abandonment.

The sober living program starts pretty simply: find employment, go to 12-Step meetings, getting a sponsor, and work the 12-steps which develops qualities derived from positive fellowships such as accountability, reliability, the habit of following your conscience, and honesty.

90% of the sober house residents that come to us rely on Exodus for shelter, food, clothing, and the necessary items to find a foundation in which to start living a new life, while 30% of our clients are referred to us from either the probation department or department of corrections to help aid in their transition to sober independent living.
