Sober House Description:
Dove Recovery House for Women is Marion County’s largest substance abuse recovery center for women. Since 2000, hundreds of women have made Dove House their home as they seek recovery from substance abuse and addiction. Last year, 73% of our residents successfully completed the program.
Each month, more than 100 women contact Dove House, hoping that the day they make that phone call is the first step towards sobriety and the road to recovery. As women come to the Dove House ready to shed their addictions, their needs, hopes, and dreams vary – to overcome trauma and be safe, to be known and loved, to reunite with family, to go back to school or find employment, to live a healthier life.
From the first day at Dove House, our women are affirmed that all of these hopes are possible because they have taken the first step to rewriting their narrative.
Dove House is a transitional housing facility that is staffed around the clock. Every morning, residents meet as a group with a Dove House case manager to participate in morning reflection and start the day on a positive note.
