The Maple House aims to provide a physically and emotionally safe, secure, and respectful home environment to foster an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle for all members. This sober home is comprised of a group of individuals who share a common desire to stay clean and sober, a commitment to honoring the house rules and participating in the house decision-making process. Sober housing is an option that offers individuals peer-to-peer support to maintain long-term recovery.

Sober houses often serve as a bridge between treatment and independent living and offer affordable rents and a supportive environment for those in recovery from substance abuse.

Summer Street House

The Summer Street House is a co-ed sober house in Northampton Massachusetts that provides a sober living opportunity for individuals who volunteer not to use alcohol or illegal drugs. The house follows guidelines set by the National Association of Recovery Residences (NARR) and is governed by rules and agreements set by the residents and Gándara Center representatives.

F.I.R.S.T. Recovery Home

FIRST Recovery Home is a coed sober home in Dorchester, MA.  They offer sober living spaces to men and women in recovery.  F.I.R.S.T. stands for “For Individuals Recovering Sound Thinking.” The FIRST staff is comprised of licensed professionals that offer individual and group counseling, on and off-site mental health counseling, and relapse prevention counseling. FIRST Recovery Home is a no smoking facility and offers tobacco cessation counseling for those that have not yet but are willing to quit smoking.

Their mission Is to provide culturally competent care where co-eds and couples, can live and thrive in a strictly sober environment

Vineyard House

Vineyard House provides housing for men and women in recovery who are in need of a safe structured living environment while in the early stages of recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. In 2014 Vineyard House moved into a new specially designed recovery community with separate houses for men and women, an administration building, and 12-step meeting rooms to provide the support residents need while renewing responsibilities to themselves, their families and the community.

Vineyard House is a coed sober house in Vineyard Haven, MA.  They are a recovery residence serving the Island community of Martha’s Vineyard. Through structured community living residents are able to recover.  Residents pay rent to live in a supportive environment and are expected to work, attend 12-step meetings and contribute in other ways to the community.

The Canal House is a Coed sober house in Orleans, MA.

They provide affordable housing and support for individuals in recovery.  The house offers a safe living environment for residents in need.  The residents are able to focus on their recovery in a constructive place.  An on-site program manager helps residents successfully recover.
